Watching Eye Return Procedures & Warranty Information
 
 

Our Products come with different warrantees, be sure which type of warranty you have on your product so you know which procedure to follow. If you are un-sure of which warranty you may have you can write us at Regarding Warranty The different types of warrantees are outlined below. Products must be returned in their original packaging with all the accessories, power supplies and manuals. Incomplete or damaged packaging can void and warranties.

Return Procedures:

To reduce the possibility of a restocking fee or delayed credit, please follow the guidelines below.

** A RA number must be obtained PRIOR to returning any products**

**Returns are only accepted when the signed RA is included with the returned merchandize**

1. In order to be eligible for a credit, minus the shipping charges, items must be returned within 15 days from when you receive the merchandize. After the 15th day, a restocking fee will be applied of 15%. There is a 30 day limit from invoice date in order to receive any type of credit. After the 30th day no credits will be issued.

2. The RA # issued does not guarantee that you will receive warranty service, replacements or that credit will be approved. Returns not conforming to the appropriate procedures will be returned to you freight collect. We will not accept any products that are not returned in original packaging, marked, or physically damaged.

3. The RA # must be written on the outside of the shipping box or on shipping label. Not on the product box.

4. The customer is responsible for freight to SCW. We are only responsible for return shipping to the contiguous, continental United States. This does not include Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & the US Virgin Islands.

5. Customer must insure returned merchandise for 50% of the original purchase price.

6. A restocking fee of up to 15% can be applied for damaged or missing items.

7. Advanced replacements will only be issued within the 30 day period of original purchase date.

8. Advanced replacements must be returned no later than 14 days from initial receipt of replacement. After the 14 day period your account will be charged for equipment that has not been received. You agree that you will not charge back our account if you fail to meet these requirements.

9."NO FAULT FOUND" returns will be subject to a return shipping charge.

10.RA's only valid for 14 days from original issue date.

11. If you were issued a advanced replacement, the deposit will cover any damages or missing items. The deposit will be credited back depending on assessed damage or replacement parts. Ex: The cost of equipment is $120 if the damage caused by neglect is $20 the amount credited back from your deposit will be $100.

12. By signing this document you agree to all the terms outlined in this document. You also agree to return policy on our website.


Warranty:

This is Watching Eye DVR Warranty.

All products have a 1 year warranty from date of receipt.

There is a 7 day money back guarantee. If you are not happy with your product you can return it for a refund, less the amount of the original shipping cost. The customer is responsible for shipping back to SCW.

One Year Warranty: If your product is defective we will replace or repair it for a period of one year. (From date of products being received). The products are only replaced if they can not be repaired.

All warranties and refunds are subject to these regulations and restrictions. You must send the product back via pre-paid shipping (we do not refund shipping cost; However, we will return your product free ground shipping to you if being repaired or replaced). Your warranty will be evaluated and your product will be shipped to you within 7 business days (Could vary on product and part availability). In the event your model is no longer or temporally unavailable, you will be offered an upgrade to a new or current model. The value or your defective model will be based on the current selling price of similar models. You will only have to pay the difference to upgrade to a different model.

If your product is replaced your warranty is not extended.

When your item is returned, our technicians will confirm and evaluate the nature of the defective product. Please make sure you provide a written explanation of the failure. If after the technicians evaluates the returned product and it is determined not to be defective, it will be the customer's responsibility to pay freight to return products.

You must provide a copy of your original sales receipt indicating date of purchases.

For credits products must be returned in their original packaging with all the accessories, power supplies and manuals. Incomplete returns can affect your credit amount.

This Warranty is excluded or voided in the event of, external or internal Physical damage. Damage during transportation (the shipper is responsible for any claims) Damage due to Power surges, lighting or improper power supply requirements. Damage because of improper use, acts of God and not following manufacture recommendations is not covered under any warrantee's.
